USITT RP-2, Recommended Practice for Theatrical Lighting Design Graphics Otherwise known as the USITT RP-2 Theatre Light Design Graphics Package, this download replaces the Field Template Generic Object Library. It includes an eight page object library, a matching pdf file that can be printed as an offline reference, and a pdf excel file displaying the default resource data extracted directly from the symbols. The symbols are expanded from the original six pages that Shelley used to create the now-approved RP-2 graphic. But instead of merely providing a single tophat, for example, he built in examples of tophats in all sizes. The USITT Standards RP-2 Theatre Light Design Graphics Package provides the basic symbology to allow most entry—level users to draw the basic elements of a rig and communicate placement and circuitry of a lighting design to the crew.
