SoftSymbols™ mimics the Spotlight structure—the symbols are organized in the same folders, and all the symbols are in 1/2” scale (if you’re drafting in metric, keep reading! Version 3 breaks the data scale code!) SoftSymbols™ is designed for Spotlight, and can be converted to AutoPlot. ”That’s nice. On top of that--compare the presentation: When you open a Spotlight Object Libary document, you're presented with a Resource Browser in a blank document. There's ..... nothing in the document. NOTHING. So you can't compare one symbol to another, or gauge a symbol’s relative size. Heck, the only way to even LOOK at ANY Spotlight symbol is to either change the Resource Browser’s view to "Thumbnail" or start pasting symbols into the document. Compare a SoftSymbols™ Object Library to a Spotlight Object Library and see the difference. (And these graphics are generous. In reality, like we said, a Spotlight Object Library is a big blank thing. The images show SoftSymbols™ versus Spotlight symbols. In reality, a true comparison is SoftSymbols™ against a blank slate!)

SoftSymbols are available as legitimate downloads only through this website. There is no agreement with any other retailer to distribute SoftSymbols in any way. Any other website offering SoftSymbols is a sham and a fraud. It has come to our attention that SoftSymbols, presented as our product, is now appearing as product downloads on "discount software" web sites. At one point, we considered purchasing one of these "discount downloads" in order to possess evidence of copyright violation and internet fraud. Our attorney advised us against this course of action. He told us that these web sites are often phishing expeditions. Lured by the discounted price, the victim provides his credit card information to the phisher. Once acquired, the legitimate credit card is exploited. In addition to risking one's credit card security, there's no guarantee that any "discount software" purchase will actually result in complete or functioning software. Field Template has always stood by it's mission to provide a complete quality product. As a registered SoftSymbols user, you are entitled to applicable software support, software replacement, and software upgrades.
